We are offer our sheep for 2 different types of grazing.

Why use our sheep to graze?
Through rotational grazing we can manage for diversity in plant structure between the paddocks in pastures. When grazing we typically do not come back to an area that has been grazed for a minimum of 30 days. This window allows us to influence the bloom time and to extend it. This practice promotes more species of plants to bloom and set seed while offering diverse microsite conditions that are beneficial to species like butterflies and bees.
Putting animals back into the system increases the organic matter of the soil, which will improve water holding capacity to allow the ground to be more resistant to drought. It allows for more water capture which decreases runoff, because more carbon builds soil aggerates in the profile, which will allow for water to move down through the substrate. Increasing soil life will add to the engine of the site for converting sunlight into energy fostering microbes and other soil life.
